Ch. 4 Revisited--Due 12/1

Hi All,
We left Ch. 4 (multi-cultural work) to jump ahead to Ch. 15 (oral communication), so now we are ready to finish it off.
1. Read and finish notes on all of Ch. 4--if you can't find your notes you'll have to start over. Notes will be collected and graded at the end of class on Tue.
2. Just to see how much you remember, play with the FlashCards for Ch. 4 for 15-20 minutes.
3. Complete the packet on Ch. 4--you already have this one--may be extras in the basket. Some of you turned this in already--you'll get it back.
4. Take the online quiz
5. On Friday--take the Test (you may use your notes). Good luck!

Be sure to have Mrs. Brinkman record your results--you only get one chance--do not retake it. Make sure you review the ones you missed at the end of the summary.

* When you feel prepared, take the Ch. 15 Test. Must be completed by Nov. 17.

* Students competing may work on their event in place of packet and Test, but must practice flash cards and take online quiz.

Use these ideas as you write a 5-8 minute speech. You will be graded on length, appropriateness of content for audience, use of nonverbals, presentation, and avoidance of filler words.
Present "rough draft" by Friday Oct 27.
